Hello! So this week I have something very exciting to share with you all. I have been working on trying different mediums to express my Studio to Street style. Along with my talented digital tech savvy friend Jacob Sofer, we have created a STOP-MOTION short video to animate the daily process of a ballet dancers style evolution.
I begin each day layered up in the warmest gear to keep my muscles and body warm until our morning class starts. As soon as barre work begins, each layer is peeled off as my body is moving and warming up. This process continues as class progresses into centre practice, until I am so warm and stripped down to just my leotard and pink tights.
The layers appear again when rehearsals start, in this case a classic tutu.
Our disguise from a ballet dancer to a pedestrian that catches your tram, bus or train, is another process of change as we leave the studios and change into our individual style street wear as the day ends.
Then we eat, sleep and repeat.
Enjoy watching THE PROCESS- A BALLET DANCERS DISGUISE!

Special thanks to my creative friend Jacob Sofer! I went to him with an idea to create a STOP MOTION video and he was the technical brains behind making this possible! Huge thanks for collaborating this with me, it's the best part of the project- being able to share and create cool stuff with your mates!
His creating abilities does not stop there....did you know Jacob and his girlfriend Peggy are the brains and creative forces behind Keto Dancewear?! Their leotards are shown in this video here and in ''Alice Topp - The magic beneath her hat is purely heart and soul'' studio style gallery.
